SUMMER NEWSLETTER 2023

The summer sun is shining and we've given our newsletter a fresh look to match the vitality that's happening inside our programs. From supporting mental health and celebrating our entrepreneurial parents, to children gaining confidence through play with our dedicated volunteers, we've got a lot of goodness to share.

Opening Doors on New Playspaces in Concord

Horizons recently opened two new Playspaces in partnership with Making Opportunity Count, a partner organization that empowers families to achieve economic security. These new Playspaces are located at MOC’s shelter in Concord, serving families who were previously in a temporary shelter at the former Army base in Devens, Massachusetts. The Playspaces will serve the nearly 130 children that have moved in with their families. Each Playspace will serve a targeted age group and will be staffed by Horizons' trained volunteers.
