LATE FALL NEWSLETTER 2025

November is National Homelessness Awareness Month and gives us reason to reflect on why our work matters. Across Massachusetts, too many young children are growing up without a stable place to call home. Our early education program and Playspaces are helping these children build the foundation for lifelong learning, confidence, and resilience.

Read on for the latest community partnerships and stories that make brighter futures possible.

Horizons' Children Keep Warm with New Winter Gear

Receiving winter wear that fits a growing child is a relief for many families. During this rapid time of physical growth in early childhood, our corporate partners are helping our families out, making sure that each child is warm and cozy this holiday season.

Thanks to the generous support of Turner Construction Company, MFS Investment Management, Bowditch & Dewey, and Adage Capital, every child we serve will be bundled up and prepared for the cold months ahead.

FY26 Breakfast Thank you Collage

Horizons Celebrates a Successful Breakfast Event

Together, we raised a record-breaking $1.3M. Funds from the event will help Horizons continue to transform the lives of children and families experiencing homelessness. We’re grateful to our supporters and lead corporate sponsors MFS Investment Management, Cummings Foundation and United Way of Massachusetts Bay for making this extraordinary achievement possible!

Guests got a sneak peek inside our new classrooms and heard the inspirational story of a current parent enrolled with her son in our program.

Actress and author Diane Guerrero delivered a powerful keynote exploring themes of family, resilience, trauma, and the power of parental love- experiences that closely mirror and affirm Horizons’ mission.

To all our friends, thank you for your generosity, partnership, and belief in what’s possible when we come together.

Your feedback is welcome and valuable to us.
We hope you’ll click ‘reply’ and share your thoughts.
